2024 Camp Information

Camp will be offered June 10th through August 2nd.

Times: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Petroleum Valley Youth Center
Cost: $90

Petroleum Valley Youth Center will be closed July 4th and 5th in observance of Independence Day.

Cost and Registration
How much Does Camp COst?
To continue operating our campus with well-maintained facilities and qualified staff, the total cost to attend our program is $90 per child for an entire summer of fun!
More than one child? See rates below!
2nd Child: $85
3rd and Any Child After: $80
How do I pay for camp?
You can pay online by clicking the "Pay Here" button at the bottom of the page. You will need to select "Summer Camp Registration" and enter your child's name in the memo box. You will also need to select "cover fees" in order for PVYC to receive the full registration amount.

​You can also pay in person with cash or check. If you are writing a check please make it out to "Petroleum Valley Youth Center". 
do i pay the full Fee if my child doesn't plan to attend everyday?
Yes, our registration fee is the same for all families regardless of how often your child plans on attending. 
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR CAMP?
You can register online by clicking the "Register Now!" button at the top of this page. Registration forms can also be printed and brought to camp or emailed to our directors at [email protected]. Registrations forms will also be available onsite for the duration of the summer.
Camp Activities, Schedules, and Food
What activities will my child participate in?
Campers will participate in various free time activities such as fort building, gaga, volleyball, fishing, 4-square, basketball, board games, crafts, and so much more! Campers will participate in one large group activity each afternoon.
Do campers go on Field Trips?
Yes, PVYC has Fun Friday Field Trips each Friday for an additional cost. Permission slips for Fun Friday trips are sent out each Monday and are due each Wednesday. Permission slips provide information such as the destination, times and location for drop-off and pick up, cost, and if lunch is provided. Does my child have to attend for the whole day/everyday?
In order to best accommodate varying scheduling conflicts that may arise, PVYC does not require daily attendance. Instead, we use a drop-in program where campers may attend when able.
How does Early Drop-off and late Pick-up work?
Early drop-off and late pick-up will be available upon request for an extra fee of $35 per week per child. This service is only offered Monday-Thursday. Early drop-off and late pick-up is not offered on Fun Friday Field Trips.

Early Drop-Off: 8:00 AM - 9:50 AM
Late Pick-Up: 4:15 PM until 5:00 PM
Is food provided?
No, food is not provided. Campers will need to bring a lunch with them to camp. Campers will have access to limited microwaves. PVYC does have a small store where campers can buy drinks and snacks. The store is only open after lunch. All items are under $2. 
What should my child bring to camp?
Campers will need to bring a lunch and reusable water bottle with them to camp each day. Campers will have access to re-fill their water bottles with our Culligan water dispensers. It is highly recommended that campers also bring bug spray and sunscreen with them.
Drop-Off, Pick-Up, and Safety
Where Do i drop my child off at?
During drop-off, parents will drive around the loop and will remain in their vehicle. Campers will exit the vehicle at the main building. Staff will be outside of the main building to sign each camper in. 
Where do i pick-up my child?
During pick-up, parents will remain in their vehicles.  A counselor will come to each individual car to have the approved adult sign the camper out and will then send the camper to their car. 
What happens on Rainy or extremely hot days?
PVYC operates rain or shine! On rainy days, campers can play inside or under our covered areas. Days that are really hot are often turned into water game days allowing the campers to cool off. 
What measures are taken to promote my childs health and safety?
Counselors will clean high touch areas such as bathrooms, tables, counters, and surfaces daily.
